Thank You, District 1 Voters!
May 24, 2008
I believe that District 1 needs a representative who will help cultivate
the changes that we need to succeed as a nation in the 21st Century.
While Mr. Wu is a good man and I respect his years of service to our
state, I do not hold out any hope that he can lead us toward these
changes. We need new leadership, from officials who are willing to
take risks and cross party lines.
Former Intel Chairman Andy Grove described a construct he termed the Strategic Inflection Point, where the previous ways of doing business no longer fit reality, and "depending on the actions you take in responding to this challenge, you will either go on to new heights or head downward in your prosperity...” It seems to me this sums up our current situation!
I certainly don't have all the answers, and to succeed we need to work together to come up with common solutions to our problems. You will always know where I stand on the issues, and I will always ask for and listen to your views. The bottom line is that we all want what is best for America, and to have an optimistic future for our children. We are in this together and we can work out our differences.

Thank you for taking the time to get involved in this consequential election!
