Host a Haugen Party!

Around here, we're all about doing things differently, and that includes the throwing of parties. Whereas most campaigns encourage people to throw house parties, we would like to recommend that you instead jump on board with Hosting for Haugen and call your local tavern to warn them that you're throwing a Haugen Party.

Picture this: You and 30-50 friends, neighbors, even people you've met at the bus stop, all gathered together at your favorite local pub to support Joel. All of us here at the Haugen campaign are Oregonians through and through, so we each understand the beauty of a quality microbrew. We're taking the party out into the community, spreading our message, and having a great time along the way.

Interested? Hosting for Haugen is an excellent way to engage your family and friends in the process of electing Joel to Congress. Haugen Parties produce significant contributions and new volunteers, and they offer one of the best opportunities for citizens to have quality interactions with our candidate. The goal of these events is to raise money in support of Joel's campaign, but we always make sure to have fun in the process!

A few of you are still convinced that you'd rather throw a party at home? Well, okay. We certainly won't turn the support away, and appreciate every ounce of initiative you great folks bring to the table. But trust us, the tavern party is fun, and at the end of the night, you can go home and curl up in bed without worrying about cleaning up your living room.
